Indian smartphone brand, Lava International Limited, on Tuesday finally launched its latest budget offering smartphone Lava Blaze Pro in India. The smartphone is the successor of the Lava Blaze, which was released earlier this year. The key highlights of the BlazePro edition are a 50-megapixel triple rear camera setup, a 6.5-inch IPS HD display, and a big battery with 5,000mAh capacity. The Lava Blaze Pro price in India has been set at Rs 10,499 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. However, customers can purchase the smartphone at a special launch price tag of Rs 9,999 at Flipkart. The phone comes in four different color options – Glass Green, Glass Orange, Glass Blue, and Glass Gold. The company is yet to announce a sale date for the phone.

The Lava Blaze Pro comes packed with a 6.5-inch IPS HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display also features a waterdrop-style notch to house the selfie camera. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek G37 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Further, the users can expand the internal memory up to 256GB via a microSD card. On the software front, the Blaze Pro runs on the Android 12 operating system.

In terms of photography, the Lava Blaze Pro houses a triple camera setup on the rear comprising of a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro unit, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video chats, the phone carries an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The primary sensor of the phone can do up to 6x zoom, as per the company.
The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for standard 10W charging via a USB-C port.
