Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 launched in India

Japanese motorcycle manufacturer Kawasaki has finally launched its much-awaited Ninja 300 BS6 in India. Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 is the most affordable bike for the company in India.

Kawasaki was supposed to launch the Ninja 300 BS6 version by mid – 2020. The launch was postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Ninja 300 comes with numerous styling cues and design elements from other machines in the Ninja family. On the front, it has aggressive dual headlights to its screen and wheels. The Ninja 300 uses a floating-style windscreen with a gap between the cowl and the windscreen. Mounting the screen using only the bolts from the mirror stays contributes to a very clean and elegant design.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 is powered by the previous 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled petrol engine which churns out 38.4 bhp and a peak torque of 27Nm. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox along with an assist and slipper clutch.

The bike also gets a large-diameter 290 mm front petal disc brake operated by a 2-piston caliper that delivers powerful braking and a natural feel at the lever. 220 mm rear petal disc and 2-piston caliper give dependable stopping power.

Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 price in India:

The newly launched Kawasaki Ninja 300 BS6 version is priced at Rs. 3.18 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, making it nearly Rs 20,000 more expensive than the BS4 bike. It will available in three color options including Lime green, Candy Lime Green, and Ebony.
