Kangana Ranaut-starrer Dhaakad trailer out, film to release on May 20

The makers have released the much-awaited trailer of Kangana Ranaut’s Dhaakad on Friday. Directed by Razneesh Ghai, the film also stars Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, and Saswata Chatterjee. In this film, Kangana plays the role of a spy Agent Agni and can be seen showing some spectacular action moves.

In the trailer, we get a glimpse of what Agent Agni is after. She is to track down Asia’s biggest human trafficking syndicate operating from central India’s coal mine. Agni has to crack the case, but looks like it would bring back memories from her past that haunt her. Sawata Chatterjee, who had become popular as Bob Biswas from Kahaani, plays Kangana Ranaut’s boss in the film.

Sharing the trailer, Kangana wrote, “She doesn’t budge, she doesn’t stop, she doesn’t surrender! That’s how Agent Agni rolls. Get ready for some #Dhaakad action in theatres on 20th May 2022 (sic).”

It has been produced by Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai and co-produced by Hunar Mukut. The film is slated to release on May 20.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana is currently seen as the host of the reality show Lock Upp. The actress will be seen in ‘Tejas’, ‘Sita’ and ‘Manikarnika Returns: The Legend Of Didda’. She will also play the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in an upcoming political drama, titled ‘Emergency’.
