John Abraham announces ‘Tariq’ on Independence Day, film to release next year
Bollywood actor John Abraham revealed his next project ‘Tariq’, on the occasion of Independence Day, via his social media profile. The actor will not only co-produce the movie but also star in it. The movie will release on 15th August, 2023.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, the actor shared the first poster of his next project ‘Tariq’ with his followers, along with the caption, “Aazadi ki ‘Tariq’, 15 August, 2023. ‘Tariq’ is our next creative collaboration with Bake My Cake Films after Batla House and Tehran. Time to celebrate the freedom to tell good stories #AzadiKaAmritMahotsav (sic).”

The film is directed by Arun Gopalan who is also helming ‘Tehran’ which also stars John in the lead.
Meanwhile, on the work front, John Abraham was last seen in Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain Returns’ which also stars Arjun Kapoor, Tara Sutaria, and Disha Patani in lead roles. Next, he is all set to play an important role in Siddharth Anand’s ‘Pathaan’ which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead.
