Huawei Will Launch Their Mate 20 And Mate 20 Pro on October 16

Chinese Smartphone manufacturer Huawei is all set to unveil their next- generation smartphones Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro on October 16 at an event in London.

The announcement comes from Huawei Consumer Business Group CEO, Richard Yu at the ongoing technology trade show IFA 2018 in Berlin. The Company confirms that the new Mate series phones will be powered up by the company flagship Kirin 980 processor.

The Kirin 980 is the world’s first 7nm processor. It also comes with 5G support. As compared to previous generation processors the Kirin 980 processor is far powerful and power efficient. The mate series phones will be the first to use Kirin 980 processor.

The Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro both might have a display notch design and run Android Pie-based EMUI 9.0. The Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro is expected to have AI features in the camera as well as the overall UI. As the previous leaks, the mate 20 and mate 20 Pro may be in available 4 GB RAM with 64 GB internal storage and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB internal storage, respectively.

As per the images comes out the Mate 20 was also spotted with an elongated button on one side of the phone and a Type-C USB port at the bottom. The device had a triple rear camera setup and a flash in a square shape design at the back.

The Mate 20 is rumored to have a 4,200mAh battery and a traditional fingerprint sensor while the mate 20 Pro might have the on-screen fingerprint sensor.
