HTC U11+ Android Pie Update Started Rolling Out In Taiwan

The New Update Has Brings Lots Of Improvement And Features.

Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC has started rolling out Android 9.0 Pie update for its HTC U11+ Smartphone. The new update brings lots of improvements.

We want to recall you; the HTC U11+ was launched in India last year with Android Oreo. HTC is reportedly rolling out the update for its U11+ which is 1.45GB in size, and once you install it, you’ll be on software version 2.15.709.1.

The Android Pie update also brings all the major features like Adaptive Battery, Adaptive Brightness, Digital Wellbeing, screenshot shortcut, smoother screen rotation, new accessibility menu, App Slices, gesture navigation new, volume and sound improvements and more. Apart from this, the update adds ‘System Enhancements,’ and it also removes Google+ from the HTC-made BlinkFeed.

Besides that, it is reported that the Android Pie update for the U11+ is currently rolling out in Taiwan only. The global rollout process may take some time. HTC always roll out firmware updates via OTA (over-the-air) in batches. So, you can check for the OTA updates manually from your device whether the update is available or not.

The specifications of the HTC U11+ Smartphone

The smartphone has a 6-inc HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels along and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It also has a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.

For the camera feature, the U11+ has a 12-megapixel UltraPixel rear camera with an f/1.7 lens. As well as, on the front side there is an 8-megapixel sensor for a selfie with an f/2.0 lens. It is backed up by a 3930mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0.
