The Chinese electronic brand Honor recently launched its latest tablet Honor Pad V8 Pro in China. It has debuted alongside the Honor 80 GT smartphone and Honor Band 7 fitness tracker. The device is equipped with a Dimensity chipset, a high refresh rate display, a large battery, and other high-end features. The Honor Pad V8 Pro sports a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display, with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, the device runs on Android 12-based MagicOS 7.0 out-of-the-box.
In terms of optics, the Honor Pad V8 Pro features a single 13MP camera sensor with an LED flash on the rear. For selfies and video calls, it houses a 5MP front-facing camera.
For connectivity, the tablet supports – Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C port. It packs a massive 10,050mAh battery that supports 35W wired fast charging. The tablet also supports Magic Pencil 3 and a Smart Touch keyboard.

The tablet is priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs 30,900) for the 8GB + 128GB model, CNY 2,899 (around Rs 34,400) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, and CNY 3,299 (about Rs 39,200) for the top-tier 12GB + 256GB option. The Honor Pad V8 Pro comes in three different colors – Burning Orange, Clear Sky Blue, and Star Gray. The device is currently available for pre-orders in China with sales starting from December 30.
