Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen smart display launched in India: Check Price and Specifications

The search giant Google has introduced the second-generation Google Nest Hub in India today. The Google Next Hub 2nd Gen was first announced by Google last year in March.

Speaking about the key specifications, the Nest Hub 2nd Gen comes with a 7-inch edgeless glass display and it is equipped with a dedicated on-device machine learning chip. It has 3 far-field microphones, a DC power jack, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. The device also comes with support for various music apps including YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Gaana and JioSavvn, and others. Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen price in India:

The Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen comes in Chalk and Charcoal color options. It is priced at Rs 7999 in India. The smart display will be available on Flipkart, Tata Cliq, and Reliance Digital.

As part of the launch offer, Google is bundling a Nest Mini smart speaker with Nest Hub 2nd Gen if you pay an extra Rs. 1. The offer will be applicable when purchasing the speaker from Flipkart, Tata Cliq, and Reliance Digital and is valid until January 26, 2022.

Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen specifications and features:

The Google Nest Hub 2nd Gen features a 7-inch edgeless glass display. The display also functions as a beautiful digital photo frame. The device has a simple design and subtle colors. Google says, it has upgraded the speaker to offer 50% more bass and added an extra microphone for easier voice detection.

Similar to existing Nest products, the new Nest Hub can play music from streaming services such as YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Gaanna, and JioSaavn. The newly launched device also plays movies and videos from Netflix and YouTube Premium.

Note that, the 2nd Gen Nest Hub does not get a camera, and hence, it cannot make a video call.
