Gadar 2: Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel’s first look revealed from Gadar 2 muhurat

Bollywood actress Ameesha Patel has given a glimpse of her and actor Sunny Deol’s first look from their upcoming film ‘Gadar 2’.

The actress, along with co-star, Sunny Deol, can be seen dressed as Tara Singh and Sakeena, from Gadar. While Ameesha is wearing a mustard yellow suit, Sunny is in a maroon kurta, white pyjama, and turban. The two are reuniting after 20 years post the release of ‘Gadar: EK Prem Katha’. Gadar 2 will also star Utkarsh Sharma.

Taking to her official Twitter handle Ameesha has shared the photo and wrote, “GADAR 2 muhurat shot, the General was kind enough to grace the occasion @surrender .singh1974@rohit_jaykay (sic).”

Gadar was set during the partition of India in 1947, its sequel will move ahead with the India-Pakistan angle. Gadar will show the story of Tara (Sunny Deol), Sakeena (Ameesha Patel), and Jeet (their son).

The first film mainly revolves around Tara Singh (portrayed by Sunny), a Sikh truck driver from Amritsar, who falls in love with Sakina (portrayed by Ameesha), a Muslim girl hailing from a political family in Lahore, Pakistan. Late Amrish Puri was also a part of the first installment.

Directed by Anil Sharma, ‘Gadar 2’ will release in 2022. Shaktimaan has written the film, while Mithoon has composed its music.
