Fitbit Charge 5 Fitness Band launched in India with Always-On Display
Global wearable brand Fitbit has launched another smart band Charge 5 in India. The new fitness tracker comes with a sleeker design and a brighter display. The new wearable is the predecessor of Fitbit Charge 4 that debuted in April last year. In addition, the device also comes with a color AMOLED display and 7-day battery life, and important health tracking features and sensors.

The wearable comes with a 1.04-inch color display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with an always-on display option. The display is also two times brighter than its predecessor making it easy to see your stats on sunny days. The smart band is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 above and iOS 12.2 higher. The Fitbit Charge 5 is swim-proof with water resistance up to 50 meters.

It offers connectivity features such as Bluetooth with Google Fast Pair support, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. Fitbit claims the battery of the Charge 5 can last for up to 7 days and it takes about two hours to charge. It is equipped with some health tracking features like an optical heart rate sensor, skin temperature sensor, goal-based exercise modes, automatic exercise detection. Moreover, it also offers data on breathing rate, menstrual cycle, and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2).

The Charge 5 fitness band is price In India starts at Rs 14,999. The Fitbit Charge 5 comes in Graphite/ Black, Platinum/ Steel Blue, and Soft Gold/ Lunar White color options. It will be available to pre-order online at Fitbit.com and select global retailers but will go on sale in India starting this Fall.
