Facebook On Wednesday Said They Are Softening Terms OF Ads On Crypto Services And Products.

On June 2018, the social network giant Facebook updated its advertising policies related to cryptocurrency services and products that, advertisers require written approval for the cryptocurrency and blockchain related products. On Wednesday Facebook has written on a blog post that, “While we will still require people to apply to run ads promoting cryptocurrency, starting today, we will narrow this policy to no longer require pre-approval for ads related to blockchain technology, industry news, education or events related to cryptocurrency.”

Last year January, Facebook banned advertises related to promoting cryptocurrencies and initial coin offerings. They concerned that users might be scammed by these type of offerings. Later in the same year in June the company loosed its ban and unveiled new policies that advertisers who received prior written approval can run advertisements on the platform.
