Facebook Dating Is Now Available In The United States

Facebook’s Dating Service Has Been Launched In 20 countries.

Facebook officially launched its online dating service for the United States. Now Facebook dating is already available in 20 countries.

The list of countries where Facebook Dating is available includes Brazil, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Ecuador, Guyana, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Singapore, Suriname, Thailand, Uruguay, and Vietnam. As well as, the new dating service is set to launch in Europe in 2020.

Facebook Dating was announced last year at the F8 conference. It will allow the users to link their Facebook and Instagram post to a separate dating profile as well as, Facebook is rolling out its Secret Crush feature. With the help of this feature, the users will be to explore romantic relationship within their circle of friends.

However, Facebook Dating won’t match you with friends unless you choose to use Secret Crush and you both add each other to your list, Facebook said in a statement.

Facebook chief executive Mark Zuckerberg, in announcing the plan last year, said it was being designed for “real, long-term relationships, not just hookups.” He pointed out that one in three marriages in the United States start online and that some 200 million Facebook users identify as being single.
