Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ to be back on television from Feb 16

Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ was one of the most popular and highly successful shows on television screens. It was completed 21 years last year. The show, starring Smriti Irani, Rohit Roy, and Amar Upadhayay, aired its first episode on July 3, 2000, on Star Plus. Now the iconic show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ is returning to the TV screens again. It will air from Feb 16 on Star Plus.

Ekta Kapoor took to her official Instagram account today to share the exciting news with fans that the TV show is coming back on screens. Sharing a video of Smriti Irani from the show while the title track playing in the background, Ekta captioned her post, “Is promo ki ek jhalak dekh kar hi saari puraani yaadein tazaa ho gayi. Today, as I look back, I recall every memory, every moment that made this show a most loved one! Usi pyaar ke saath judiye is safar se dobaara. The show was produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and had Amar Upadhyay and Smriti Irani as leads. The other prominent actors included Ronit Roy, Gautam Kapoor, Hiten Tejwani, and Karishma Tanna.
