Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal on Tuesday (June 1, 2021) has been admitted to AIIMS, Delhi due to post-COVID complications. AIIMS officials told news agency ANI on Tuesday.
The minister had tested positive for Covid-19 on April 21 but resumed office after his recovery from Covid-19. The Union Minister of education took to his Twitter handle to announce that he tested positive for Covid-19.
In a tweet, Ramesh Pokhriyal said, “This is to inform you all that I have tested Covid positive. I am taking medication and treatment as per the advice of my doctors. I request all those who have come in my contact recently to get themselves tested.”
