Domestic LPG cooking gas cylinder price hiked by Rs 15; Check out new rates

Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have once again hiked the price of domestic LPG cylinders by Rs 15 with new rates effective from Wednesday, October 6. The new rates are effective from today.

Now, the price of a non-subsidized 14.2 kg domestic cylinder in Delhi will be Rs 899.50, while the new rate of 5kg domestic cylinder stands at Rs 502.

News agency ANI informed about the same via a tweet. “Petroleum companies have increased the price of domestic LPG cylinders by Rs 15. The price of a non-subsidized 14.2 kg cylinder in Delhi is now Rs 899.50. The new rate of 5kg cylinder is now Rs 502. The new rates are effective from today,” it tweeted.

The hike follows the fuel price raise on Tuesday. Petrol and diesel prices were hiked across metros after a day’s pause. The fuel rates were increased again on Wednesday, owing to the rising prices in the international markets, taking the petrol and diesel rates to fresh record highs.
