Delhi LG appoints 3 nodal officers to coordinate on corona data

New Delhi, June 2 (IANS) Delhi Lt. Governor Anil Baijal on Tuesday appointed three nodal officials to ensure proper coordination and communication with hospitals on coronavirus data and other related measures for effective management and containment of the virus.

These officers are for central government hospitals, Lok Nayak Hospital, and private hospitals.

In an order, signed by Ashwani Kumar Mehta, Deputy Secretary (Services), the LG also transferred at least 10 officials.

Udit Prakash Rai, IAS (AGMUT 2007 batch), has been designated as Nodal Officer for coordination with private hospitals.

Rai, Managing Director of DSFDC, has been asked to hold the additional charge of Project Director (Delhi State Aids Control Society) and Project Director (CATS) relieving S.S. Dursawat, IAS (AGMUT 2012) of these charges.

Dursawat, who was also the Special Secretary (Health and Family Welfare), has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary (UD).

Also, Ravi Dhawan, IAS (AGMUT: 2011) — presently posted as Commissioner (Excise) and holding the additional charges of Special Secretary (Services), Member (DUSIB) and Special CEO (DDMA) — will also hold additional charge of Special Secretary (H&FW).

The officer is further divested of the additional charge of Member (DUSIB), the order said.

“The officer (Dhawan) is also designated as Nodal Officer for coordination with four central government hospitals in Delhi — AIIMS, RML Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital and LHMC — for proper communication of corona data and other information.

S.M. Ali, IAS, Spl. Secretary (H&FW) holding additional charge of Mission Director (DSHM), Secretary (Delhi Minorities Commission) and CEO, Delhi Waqf Board, is also designated as Nodal Officer for Lok Nayak Hospital, it said.

H. Rajesh Prasad, IAS (AGMUT: 1995) — Principal Secretary (UD) Director (Local Bodies) holding the additional charges of CMD (DSCSC) and Pr. Secretary (H&FW) — is divested of the additional charge of Pr. Secretary (H&FW)

“Vikas Anand, IAS (AGMUT: 2002), Secretary-cum-Commissioner Industries, holding additional charges of MD (DSIIDC), CEO (DUSIB) and CEO (DDMA), is posted as OSD in the Department of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) till June 7 in addition to his own duties,” the order noted.

Sanjay Goel, IAS (AGMUT: 2004) Special Secretary (UD), holding additional charge of MD (DT&TDC) & Director, DAM and Vice Chairman DAMB, is transferred and posted as MD (DT&TDC) with additional charge of Director, DAM & Vice-Chairman, DAMB.

Also, Ajay Kumar Bisht, IAS, OSD to Vice-Chairman, DDA, as and when repatriated from DDA, is posted as Member (DUSIB) on deputation. “The officer shall also hold the additional charge of Additional CEO (DJB).”

Veditha Reddy, IAS (AGMUT: 2015) and Akriti Sagar, IAS (AGMUT:2016), presently at the disposal of North Delhi Municipal Corporation, on deputation, are “repatriated and posted as Deputy Commissioner (HQ), Revenue Department,” it added.
