Cirkus Trailer: Ranveer Singh plays double role and Deepika Padukone in cameo

On Friday, the makers of Ranveer Singh’s highly-anticipated film ‘Cirkus’ have released the trailer of the movie on social media.

Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Mukesh Tiwari, Siddharth Jadhav, and Varun Sharma. Moreover, Deepika Padukone makes a special surprise in the end of the trailer.

Set in the 1960s, both Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma will be seen in a double role in the film. The trailer has the classic charm of Rohit Shetty filled with colors and over-the-top comedy and action.

On December 2, taking to Twitter Ranveer Singh shared the trailer of ‘Cirkus’ and wrote, “WELCOME TO ROHIT SHETTY’S COMEDY-VERSE !!! Trailer out now! (sic).”

‘Cirkus’ is reportedly based on the classic 1982 Hindi film ‘Angoor’, which was the remake of another Hindi film ‘Do Dooni Chaar’.

The film is all set to hit the theatres on December 23, 2022.

Meanwhile, apart from ‘Cirkus’ Ranveer Singh will be also seen in Karan Johar’s next directorial ‘Rocky aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ alongside Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra. The film is all set to release on April 28, 2023
