Actor Chris Evans apparently addressed rumors he may return as Captain America in a future Marvel Cinematic Universe film in a tweet sent Thursday.

Soon after knowing the news, a section of Netizens has made it trending with #CaptainAmerica on Twitter. Before Evans’ response, Cap fans on social media seemed intrigued by the idea of the character’s return, with some debating how it could happen.

While Marvel had no comment on this, Chris Evans was quick to respond on his Twitter. He stated, “news to me” claiming that there haven’t been any such talks.

However, according to the source, Marvel has found a way to insert them into the MCU in other properties, and the addition of the new Disney+ limited series adds even more properties in which he could make his return if it’s not his own film.
