Chiyaan Vikram admitted to the hospital due to heart attack

South Indian actor Chiyaan Vikram suffered a heart attack on Friday (July 8) and has admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. The hospital is yet to share an update regarding his health.

Since the news broke out, fans have been wishing the star actor a speedy recovery.

Wishing Chiyaan Vikram a speedy recovery through his social networking page, Sibi Sathyaraj posted, “Wishing #ChiyaanVikram a speedy recovery!Get well soon Dear sir (sic).”

Meanwhile, he was supposed to attend the teaser launch of his upcoming film, Ponniyin Selvan, which is scheduled to happen at 6 pm in Chennai today.
