Bhumi Pednekar has joined the cast of the suspense drama ‘The Lady Killer’. The actress will be leading the film along with Arjun Kapoor. The news was confirmed by the movie producers T-Series on Wednesday and shared on Twitter. This will be the first time that Arjun and Bhumi will be working with each other.
The official Twitter handle of T-Series, which is backing the film, welcomed her and wrote, “We are delighted to welcome the lady with killer vibes @bhumipednekar to the team #TheLadyKiller Directed by @ajaybahl Produced by #BhushanKumar #ShaileshRSingh #KrishanKumar (sic).”

Bhumi Pednekar shared the post on her Instagram stories and shared her excitement. “#TheLadyKiller Never done anything like this before. Am nervous and excited. Let’s do this @arjunkapoor @ajaybahl66 sir can’t wait to dig into one of the most complex characters, that’s come my way (sic),” she wrote.
The suspense drama-thriller ‘The Lady Killer’ is billed as the story of a small town “playboy” who falls in love with a “self-destructive beauty” and their whirlwind romance.
‘The Lady Killer’ is directed by Ajay Bahl and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shaaliesh R Singh.
On the work front, apart from this film, Arjun will be seen in the sequel of Ek Villain which co-stars Disha Patani, John Abraham, and Tara Sutaria. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri.
On the other hand, Bhumi has a very exciting lineup of films like – ‘Badhaai Do’ with Rajkummar Rao, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ with Akshay Kumar, ‘Bheed’ from director Anubhav Sinha, and ‘Govinda Mera Naam’ with Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani.
