BCCI unveils Team India’s new jersey ahead of T20 World Cup

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday revealed the team India’s new jersey for the upcoming 2022 T20 World Cup.

The Men in Blue will also don the same jersey during the T20I clashes against Australia and South Africa.

BCCI took to Twitter and reveal the jersey. The front of the jersey has light tones of Azure Blue while the sleeves feature dark tones of Royal Blue.

“To every cricket fan out there, this one’s for you. Presenting the all new T20 Jersey – One Blue Jersey by @mpl_sport. #HarFanKiJersey #TeamIndia #MPLSports #CricketFandom,” the BCCI tweeted.

Team India skipper Rohit Sharma, star all-rounder Hardik Pandya and Suryakumar Yadav were among the men’s players present in the picture. While women’s cricketers like Renuka Singh and captain Harmanpreet Kaur were among the players from the women’s team in the picture.

As mentioned above, India will take on Australia in a three-match T20I series slated to start on September 20 (Tuesday) in Mohali. After having a disappointing outing during the 2022 T20 Asia Cup, the Men in Blue will want to make a strong comeback before heading towards the all-important T20 World Cup in Australia.
