Arnab Goswami arrest case: SC to Hear Arnab Goswami’s Bail Plea on Wednesday

The Supreme Court will hear on Wednesday the interim bail plea of Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami in the 2018 suicide abetment case.

In earlier, the Bombay High Court was refused to grant interim bail to Goswami and two others on Monday and asked them to move to the local court for relief.

Meanwhile, his friends and followers are starting to support him on Twitter with the hashtag #SCGrantBailToArnab

One of them, Gaurav Goel Stae Spokesperson, BJP (Advocate) wrote, “Maharashtra Government clearly messaging that it’s not rule of law in the state but the rule of a few individuals and all should confirm with their wishes or face consequences”.

Goswami and the two others Feroze Shaikh and Nitish Sarda were arrested by Alibug police in Maharashtra’s Raigad district on November 4 in connection with the suicide of architect-interior designer Anvay Naik and his mother in 2018 over alleged non-payment of dues by companies of the accused.
