Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. And on Wednesday the actress shared a new pic looking drop-dead-gorgeous in a floral-embellished saree. Alia’s cat Edward also joined her for Gangubai Kathiawadi promotions.
Sharing the photo, she captioned it, “Edward Bhai Aur Gangubai. #GangubaiKathiawadi in cinemas 25th February.”
Apart from Alia Bhatt the film also stars Ajay Devgn in a pivotal role.
The period drama has been adapted from one of the chapters of noted author Hussain Zaidi’s book, ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai’, and features Alia in the lead role of Gangubai, one of the most powerful, loved, and respected madams from Kamathipura during the 1960s.
It will also premiere at the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival as well as release on 25 February.
