Akshay Kumar’s ‘Prithviraj’ teaser released in Tamil and Telugu languages
After several delays caused by the COVID-19, the makers of Akshay Kumar’s film, ‘Prithviraj’, unveiled the teaser of the movie in Tamil and Telugu languages. Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film features Manushi Chillar as the leading lady opposite Akshay Kumar.
The film is based on the incredible life of King Prithviraj Chauhan. Sharing the teaser of Prithviraj in Tamil, production house Yash Raj Films wrote, “Brave and victorious. He was Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. Watch his story come to life in Tamil on 3rd June! Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you (sic).”

For the Telugu teaser, the caption read, “His courage was mightier than his sword. Experience the larger than life story of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in Telugu 3rd June onwards! Celebrate Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you (sic).”

‘Prithviraj’ is a historical drama based on the life of warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan. In the film, Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The film also marks Manushi Chillar’s Bollywood debut who will play the role of Princess Sanyogita.
Apart from Akshay and Manushi, ‘Prithviraj’ will also star Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is slated to release on 3rd June, 2022.
