Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur’s crime thriller gets a new titled ‘Gumraah’

Bollywood actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Mrunal Thakur’s previously untitled film is now titled ‘Gumraah’. Based on true events, the crime thriller features Aditya Roy Kapur will be seen in a double role for the very first time in two completely different avatars and Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing a Cop.

As per the report, The film is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film ‘Thadam’ which plays Arun Vijay and Tanya Hope in the leading roles.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has shared the news on Twitter and wrote, “ADITYA ROY KAPUR – MRUNAL THAKUR: ‘THADAM’ REMAKE TITLED ‘GUMRAAH’… The #Hindi remake of #Tamil film #Thadam – starring #AdityaRoyKapur [in his first-ever double role] and #MrunalThakur – is titled #Gumraah… Commences second shooting schedule in #Mumbai today (sic).”

Aditya Roy Kapur has completed the first schedule and will begin the second schedule today along with Mrunal Thakur in Mumbai.

Helmed by debutant director Vardhan Ketkar the film is being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.

Apart from this, Aditya is also set to star in another out-and-out action drama titled, ‘OM: The Battle Within’ where he will be paired opposite ‘Dil Bechara’ fame Sanjana Sanghi. ‘Om: The Battle Within’ is slated to release in theatres on July 1.
