Abir Chatterjee starrer Avrodh 2 trailer out, to be premiere on June 24

The makers of ‘Avrodh’ are all set to come up with a new season Avrodh 2: The Siege Within. The second season stars Bengali cinema star Abir Chatterjee in the lead role.

The official Twitter handle of SonyLiv shared the trailer of Avrodh Season 2. “The enemy had planned for the ultimate siege, but had not planned for our bravehearts! #AvrodhS2, streaming from 24th June, only on #SonyLIV. #AvrodhOnSonyLIV (sic),” read the caption.

The trailer begins with Ahana Kumra offering Rs 100 crore to a local leader in Amritsar, Punjab, to spread hatred and remind the people of the violence of the 80s. It is followed by Sanjay Suri, who plays a Pakistani politician, talking about attacking the Indian economy by circulating fake notes in the country.

Directed by Raj Acharya and produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Juggernaut productions, the series is written by Brijesh Jayrajan, and Sudeep Nigam. Apart from Abir Chatterjee, the show features Mohan Agashe, Neeraj Kabi, Anant Mahadevan, Aahana Kumra, Rajesh Khattar, and Sanjay Suri, among others.

‘Avrodh Season 2’ will be streaming from June 24 on SonyLIV.
