A 16-year-old teenager were injured by bullet in Battala Harsandighi Par area of Midnapore town, on Monday night.
On Monday night, the boy and his friends were sitting on the bank of a pond in Harsandighi. It is alleged that a group of miscreants came and fired at that time and 16-year-old Shubha Bera was shot by the miscreants and fell on the spot. After that, he was admitted to Midnapore Medical College Hospital.
According to the source, it is learned that the teenager was shot in the shoulder. Kotwali police conducted a night raid in Midnapore town in search of the miscreants. However, no arrests have been made so far. The incident has spread panic in Harsandighi area. Police are also investigating the cause of the shooting.
