Today, the makers have released the first song ‘Lehra Do’ from Ranveer Singh starrer 83. The song’s video features team India’s triumphant journey during the 1983 World Cup that began with a poor performance by our cricket team. This patriotism track has been sung by Arijit Singh and penned by Kausar Munir, with music by Pritam.

Directed by Kabir Khan, Ranveer Singh essays the role of Kapil Dev in 83, who was the captain of the Indian cricket team when it attained victory at the 1983 World Cup. Deepika Padukone plays the role of Kapil Dev’s wife, Romi Bhatia, in the film. The cast also features Saqib Saleem, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ammy Virk, and Pankaj Tripathi, among others.
83 is jointly produced by Deepika Padukone, Kabir Khan, Vishnu Vardhan Induri, Sajid Nadiadwala, Phantom Films, Reliance Entertainment.
The film is slated to release worldwide on December 24, 2021.
